How to Write an Elevator Pitch
Being able to communicate what you do quickly and effectively so that people understand it, especially in networking situations, will create interest in your business. You will find people want to know more about how you do it and they will speak to others about it, generating interest and referrals to you,
If people don’t understand what you do, how can they communicate it positively to others? Many people they speak to could be potential customers.
Your elevator pitch is about making your marketing message simple and to the point.
What is an Elevator Pitch?
An “elevator pitch” is a quick and concise way to communicate who you are, what you do, and why you do it better than anyone else.
Why is it Important?
The concept of the elevator pitch is to imagine yourself in an elevator with Bill Gates or Richard Branson or someone else who has been successful in business who you admire. You have until the ground floor, about twenty seconds, to tell them about your business. You must be able to do this clearly, simply and with passion!
